Fishackathon inspired us to make an application that can be used internationally to make a change.
GhostGear is an application that can be used by everyone in a quick and easy way. It is used to make pictures of Lost Fishing Gear and tangled endangered species. When the picture is made, a location will automatically be linked to it by your phones GPS. The picture will be send to an adminpanel managed by the authorities of that country. These Authorities will then take further action in solving the problem. The main goal is to register every Ghost Gear and decrease the danger that it brings to boats and marine animals.
The GhostGear App is built with coding and creativity.
The most difficult challenge was Time Management.
We are proud that we were able to build an app that is user friendly.
We learned a lot about the ways of Ghost gears.
The next Step for Ghost Gear is implementing more features to the app.
