Inspiration

Software due diligence today requires founders to expose proprietary source code to investors, auditors, and potential acquirers. This creates significant privacy and intellectual property risks. We wanted to build a solution that allows organizations to prove software quality and security without revealing confidential code.

What it does

GhostAudit is a privacy-preserving software due diligence platform powered by AI and Midnight Zero-Knowledge technology.

The platform analyzes a software repository, generates an AI-powered audit report, detects technologies and dependencies, evaluates repository health, and produces investor-friendly insights. Instead of sharing source code, GhostAudit creates a cryptographic commitment that can be verified on the Midnight Network while keeping proprietary code private.

We built a guided repository analysis pipeline that generates audit reports and integrates with Midnight to demonstrate privacy-preserving verification using Zero-Knowledge Proof concepts.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was integrating blockchain concepts into a user-friendly workflow while maintaining privacy. We also spent significant time designing a smooth audit experience and connecting repository analysis with cryptographic verification.
