Inspiration
I wanted to build an immersive, lightweight 3D endless runner that runs smoothly not just on high-end PCs, but directly on smart devices like Amazon Fire TV using web technologies.
What it does
'Ghost Wolf: Cyber Run' is a cyberpunk-themed survival game. Players dodge anti-virus skulls, collect digital coins, and use hack skills. The entire UI and control scheme has been optimized for the Fire TV 10-foot experience, allowing seamless navigation using a standard TV remote (D-pad/Arrow keys).
How we built it
I built it entirely from scratch as a solo developer using Three.js for 3D rendering, vanilla JavaScript for the game logic, and HTML/CSS for the interface. It is hosted on Render for instant cross-device access.
Challenges we ran into
Initially, integrating complex multiplayer physics (via Firebase) caused sync issues on lower-end devices. I pivoted to a highly polished single-player experience to ensure a constant 60 FPS on Fire TV browsers.
