Inspiration

A classic activity around the campfire is to tell ghost stories. Unless you've previously encountered a ghost, it can be difficult to come up with your own spooky story. This generator will help you do so.

What it does

With some customizable user inputs, our site will generate you a unique spooky ghost story.

How we built it

We built this full-stack project using the MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, React, NodeJS) stack, Chakra-UI for front-end, and Spline for 3D renders.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges maximizing the user experience. We overcame our issues with animation, audio, and typewriting effects.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of how we incorporated a complex backend project with a strong user experience. Also pushed ourselves to use 3D modeling.

What we learned

We learned a lot about creating full-stack web applications, 3D rendering, and animation.
