What you learned from using the Forge platform? Building my first “Hello World” app with Forge for Confluence was such a rewarding experience! I was genuinely impressed by how easy Forge makes it to get started—from setting up the environment to seeing my app live in Confluence. It taught me how powerful and developer-friendly the platform is, with its intuitive CLI, secure backend functions, and seamless integration into the Atlassian ecosystem. I also got a glimpse of how Forge handles app hosting and authentication, which is usually a heavy lift elsewhere—here, it just works!

What are you most excited about building with Forge moving forward? Now that I’ve gotten a taste, I’m really excited to build more interactive and useful tools within Confluence—like smart macros, dashboards, etc. The idea that I can create solutions that live directly where teams collaborate is incredibly exciting. Forge opens up so many possibilities, and I can’t wait to experiment more and bring ideas to life that make Confluence even more powerful for users!
