Inspiration
The third problem statement seemed most interesting and challenging.
What it does
GEUHS - General Electric Unified Health System. Allows patient records to be accessed by authorised healthcare providers. The patient data is compressed externally and encrypted before storage.
How I built it
The front end was a web application coded from scratch built with HTML5 and CSS3. This was linked using PHP to the local storage - MySQL database.
Challenges I ran into
We intended to use Predix, GE's Cloud Service. However, this was unavailable during this Hackathon.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We were able to build a fully functional prototype within the limited time, that looked good and worked even better!
What's next for GEUHS
Moving to the cloud as initially planned. Working on improving security and adding more functionality.
