Inspiration
Building a CV is one of the few universal tasks: everyone does it, usually under stress, often at the worst moment of their life. Yet most "free" resume builders are the same trap — you spend an hour writing, formatting, and polishing, and the moment you click Download, a paywall appears. Some charge a cheap trial that silently renews at $29/month.
The problem is worse outside the English-speaking world. Try building an Arabic CV: right-to-left support is either broken or missing entirely, and almost no tool lets you browse in one language while writing your CV in another — exactly what someone in Riyadh or Tunis applying to an international company needs.

How I built it
The stack is Laravel API + Vue.js SPA (marketing site in Astro, PDFs rendered with Puppeteer).
Challenges I ran into
Pagination. Live preview has to match the final PDF byte-for-byte.
RTL. Mirroring a layout is trivial; handling mixed direction inside a single document — an Arabic interface with an English CV, or Arabic text with Latin company names — required building proper bidirectional text handling at the component level.
