getOUT and see the world!

Inspiration

I was in the gym one day and started thinking about how it would be nice to have people to go with sometimes. While I do have friends that go to the gym often, my schedule never lines up with theirs, so I started thinking about possible solutions to this. Hence, getOUT was born - Kelly

What it does

Allows users to be randomly paired with others interested in doing a similar activity (going to the dining hall, gym, movies, etc)

How we built it

We used Streamlit for the Frontend of the code and used AWS RDS to store the data for our code.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues with email verification, AWS SES did not work with the AWS credential we were given, so we had to pivot to using Google's STMP. We also ran into issues with Streamlit and importing methods and variables into the Streamlit pages.
