Inspiration

As part of the Inflation Reduction Act (2022) the US federal government is giving large tax breaks for people who install Heat Pump systems, both for heating and cooling. These save energy and money and given the generous incentives end up being cheaper than traditional energy hungry systems.

But there's a problem. Understanding which systems qualify for the tax breaks can be hard even for the people installing said systems because the government websites can be complicated to navigate and undersatnd.

What it does

Helps people:

• understand the regulations and the upsides of getting a heat pump using AI chat trained and government docs
• find the right qualified heat pump for where they live
• get a provider to install a qualified heat pump

What's next for GetMyHeatPump

• add more documentation for chat
• add a wizard for finding the right heat pump all the way through to getting one installed
• add sponsorship from installers
