✅ Inspiration As someone who’s worked with eCommerce sellers and content creators, I saw a common pain point: creating product visuals takes too much time, requires too many tools, and often needs design experience. Tools like Canva or Photoshop are powerful but not specialized. I wanted to build a solution tailored for Shopify, Etsy, and DTC sellers — something that empowers non-designers to create studio-quality visuals in seconds.
✅ What it does Getaicraft is an AI-powered platform that helps users instantly:
Remove backgrounds from images and videos
Swap outfits or product styles using AI
Turn static images into dynamic videos
Generate high-quality visuals optimized for eCommerce
Store outputs temporarily with full privacy control
No complex editing tools, no green screens, no learning curve. Just upload → generate → download.
✅ How I built it
Frontend : React + Next.js with TypeScript
Backend & Auth: Supabase
AI & Media Processing: Stability AI (image), custom FFmpeg scripts (video), and other inference APIs
Storage: Supabase Storage with auto-deletion
Payment: Stripe + DodoPayments for credit/subscription system
Edge Functions: Serverless video and image generation logic
✅ Challenges I ran into Ensuring video rendering worked reliably across different formats
Balancing output quality vs processing speed
Managing file privacy, especially with temporary storage and auto-deletion
Getting credit-based billing to sync perfectly with subscription tiers
Creating an intuitive UX despite complex backend workflows
✅ Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Built a fully working visual generation platform solo
Integrated multiple complex systems into one seamless UI
Achieved sub-30s video rendering time using serverless processing
Got early users who are actively using it for their online shops
Built something that’s already saving people hours of manual design work
✅ What I learned How to efficiently manage media files and transcoding on the fly
Deep insights into Supabase functions, storage, and auth
Building usable credit/subscription systems is harder than expected
Early feedback is gold — it changed how I prioritized features
You don’t need perfection to launch — working > perfect
✅ What’s next for Getaicraft Launching a bulk generation feature for power users
Adding more video styles (scrolling shots, zoom-ins, animated mockups)
Deeper Shopify + Etsy integrations (1-click import/export)
User accounts with saved project history
Affiliate/referral system to grow organically
Seeking feedback to make it even more useful!
