What it does

Allows kids to play a game and answer questions when they bump into an obstacle

How we built it

The preliminary ideas and wireframes were made using AdobeXD while we created the game with Processing. We also attempted to code our idea using Javascript, but unfortunately ran out of time to fully flesh out the project.

Challenges we ran into

All of our team members have working proficiency in only Java, which we learned in the only CS class we have taken in our first semester at college. Thus, everything we did had to be learned at the hackathon before we could implement it into our project. Thus, we ran into a lot of difficulties and learning curves with trying to produce a presentable project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Given that coming into the hackathon we had no experience with building a website or game, we are super proud that we attempted to do these tasks and were actually able to create a working game as well as get started on the actual coding process for a website.

What we learned

We learned the power of teamwork and collaboration in an amazing Hackathon like TechTogether 2020.

What's next for Get Your Brain in the Game!

We will continue to develop our product which we hope will allow children all over the world to have access to free educational tools.
