Get To Know More About Computer Science

Inspiration

We were inspired by our teacher because he included an app making activity in our class, and we thought that was really cool. We were able to create our own app made of content that we wanted to put, and we wanted to make an app dedicated to computer science itself.

What it does

Our app is a quiz app; it quizzes users on questions based off computer science. It educates users and aims to spread fun and positivity about computer science around.

How we built it

We built it using prior knowledge from our computer science class, specifically from MIT's App Inventor.

Challenges we ran into

We weren't able to figure out how to display the correct questions in the right sequence. We also were unable to display the correct message in the text box after the user input an answer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of attending our first hackathon, and we are also proud of creating a product with content we wanted to include for a long time.

What we learned

We learned that teamwork is crucial and that multiple perspectives and insights are required to create solutions to problems that a single teammate wouldn't be able to solve otherwise.
