StyleScoutAI started with one idea: what if you could point your camera at anyone and instantly know what they're wearing? We combined Amazon Nova's multimodal AI with Exa.ai's search power to make it happen.

What It Does

Snap a photo of anyone—celebrity, street style star, anyone—and StyleScoutAI identifies every piece of clothing and accessory. It finds exact brands, models, prices, and purchase links. Plus, it analyzes the overall style and researches the trend—where it's being seen, who's popularizing it, and which celebrities are rocking it. It's like having a fashion analyst in your pocket.

How We Built It

Built with React + TypeScript, powered by Amazon Bedrock (Nova Lite) for AI analysis, and Exa.ai for real-time web search. Deployed on Vercel.

Challenges We Ran Into

Teaching AI to "see" fashion like humans do was tough. Every accessory, every layer, every subtle detail needed precise prompting. The real challenge: bridging image analysis with live web search to deliver accurate, actionable results.
