Get Real

Inspiration

We were inspired by the terrible situation of (not just) young people when it comes to finding a place to live in cities.

What it does

The app shows a dashboard where the user inputs their preferences and can easily find a real estate offering they like.

How we built it

Mostly using Python to process data scraped via custom APIs written in JavaScript

Challenges we ran into

Integration took a long time, also we did not have time to build the AI recommender

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made it presentable in the end, and built nice friendships.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to manage agile projects, how to ask for help and how to deploy APIs in production.

What's next for Get Real

We want to implement an AI reccomender to make our project more useful.
