Inspiration

We wanted to capture the feeling of crossing a threshold into something significant. Two shots to show the barrier and what lies beyond it.

What it does

This teaser shows two quick visuals: looking up at a massive eagle security guard at a high-tech checkpoint, then cutting to inside where a hawk stands at a press conference podium. Music underscores the transition from obstacle to access. The brevity emphasizes the jump from outside to inside, leaving everything in between to imagination.

How we built it

We stripped the sequence to its essential beats: the imposing barrier, then the payoff of being past it. The low angle on the security guard emphasizes scale and authority, while the press conference shot confirms PI made it through. No narration needed when the visuals tell the complete micro-story.

Challenges we ran into

Conveying progression with just two shots. We needed viewers to understand both the challenge of getting past security and the accomplishment of being inside without showing the actual crossing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created narrative movement through juxtaposition. The cut between outside and inside does the storytelling work, letting viewers fill in how PI navigated the checkpoint.

What we learned

Sometimes the most effective teasers are the briefest. Two shots can tell a complete story when they show the right before and after, especially when scale and setting do the heavy lifting.
