Get Moving

This app is an interactive alarm clock that helps you wake up. It allows you to connect with friends. You can see if your alarm buddy is awake and if not, you can send them alerts to wake up.

Inspiration

our inspiration is college students/business professionals that have a hard time waking up in the morning

What it does

our app allows you to create new alarms, connect with friends and many more features.

How we built it

we build this web app using react, javascript, copy and paste and figma

Challenges we ran into

3 out of 4 of our team members were completely new to react and javascript and the whole hack-a-thon seen

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we are proud that we have a prototype and somewhat of an end product

What we learned

we learned the fundamentals of react, javascript and Figma

What's next for Get Moving

the next steps are to add a location enabler to get the designated sleeping area and to shut the alarm off you have to walk a certain distance away from your sleeping location, Another feature would be to add tasks to turn off your alarm just in case walking isn't an option for you, we would like to implement tasks that you could solve to shut off the alarm, in our app, the snooze button is nonexistant.
