Inspiration
The theme of this hackathon was major roadblock for our group. What is Upside Down? Do we just flip something over and submit it? Clearly not. Our group decided to interpret the theme as finding a way to solve a traditional problem with a non traditional approach. When thinking of issues to solve we decided to solve the plague of high schoolers and workers alike. How do we keep on our motivation on doing long term projects even when short term gratification is so close.
What it does
Our project maintains focus on long term tasks my forcing daily work on them. Pre selected times made by the user are added to a basic to do list, and by pressing a button, a timer opens up to allocate time to work on the long term tasks.
How we built it
Our group was made of primarily first time web developers who had to learn a lot about html and css in order to create a web app. We decided to try them out with HTML, CSS, and javascript
What's next for Get it done
We want to implement a streaks feature in order to incentivize working on larger tasks on a daily basis.
