Inspiration
We were inspired to create this project because we couldn't think of any website that allows you to organize your tasks, but also motivates you to complete them.
What it does
Our website allows the user to create an account and then login (although this functionality is not fully functional). It then allows a user to write a to-do list, view randomly selected motivational quotes, and watch motivational videos.
How we built it
We created a webpage using HTML and then added it's functionality with a Python framework.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we ran into was storing the user's information for use later. We also had trouble connecting the to-do list to the website, so we have two versions of it, one in html and a more fleshed out version in python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how we created a website with multiple working pages, which was a first for all of us.
What we learned
We learned a lot of HTML, which none of us had previous experience with. We also learned about web design in general.
What's next for Get Going
One thing we would like to improve is the sign up/login functionality, so we will keep working on that.
