Project Overview
In this project, we have developed an extension for the Bloomberg Terminal. After conducting our research, we found that the Bloomberg Terminal doesn't provide any geopolitical information or information related to US politics, which can affect the stock market and related financial institutions. GeoTerm is a real-time geopolitical intelligence dashboard designed to fill that gap. It aggregates live news across 11 countries and active conflict zones, classifies events by severity, and presents them in a terminal-style interface that mirrors the aesthetic and density of Bloomberg but focuses entirely on political risk. The goal is to give traders, analysts, and policy researchers a single pane of glass for monitoring geopolitical events that move markets.
