Inspiration

The inspiration is to turbo-charge the environmental sustainability ecosystem on NEAR by providing quality geospatial data and analytics to power real-world applications.

What it does

The project allows applications on NEAR to access a wide range of near-real-time geospatial data and analytics in order to build a diverse range of products including parametric insurance as well as ESG & ReFi dapps.

How we built it

Built the oracle on Chainlink then integrated it with NEAR using fungible tokens for oracle payment.

A few technical challenges in the implementation.

Creating a pipeline of climate and environmental data to power ESG innovation and the growth of a new ecosystem on NEAR.
