Inspiration: The idea for GeSound came from a desire to connect music listeners with the locations that inspired their favorite songs.

What it does: GeSound is an app that uses the Spotify API to identify the currently playing song, and then uses the song's metadata to provide information about the location where the song was recorded or written.

How we built it: The app was built using a combination of technologies including the Spotify API, Google Maps API, and Python.

Challenges we ran into: One of the main challenges we faced was accurately linking songs to their specific locations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud of the final product and the way it seamlessly integrates with Spotify to provide a unique and useful experience for music listeners.

What we learned: We learned a lot about working with APIs and integrating different technologies to create a cohesive product.

What's next for GeoSound API: We plan to continue to improve the accuracy of the location information provided by the app and explore new ways to enhance the user experience. Additionally, we would like to integrate more features, like an option to search for songs based on location, etc.
