Bad roads and potholes cause accidents and problems for drivers. I wanted to help improve road safety.
What it does
GeoSmart finds potholes using satellite data and shows road problems on a web application.
How I built it
I used satellite images and a simple web app to show road conditions on a map.
Challenges I ran into
Understanding satellite data and making the system easy to use were difficult.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I built a system that works without sensors and can monitor roads from anywhere.

What's next for Géosmart
The next step is to improve detection accuracy, add more road areas, and develop features for government and public use.
