Inspiration
My first android project, never worked on something before with knowing how to do it properly in terms of model-view-controller.
What it does
Asks a user a geography question and the user answers true or false or they also have the option to cheat if they don't know the answer.
How I built it
It utilizes xml for building the view. Model only consists of one POJO - Question. Didn't need to utilize a linked list for switching between questions because it can simply be done with assigning a question an id and setting the text field of a question through the id of each question.
Challenges I ran into
Data not persisting when changed into landscape mode.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
fixing data persistence.
What I learned
android development. Activity life cycle. model-view-controller framework.
What's next for GeoQuiz
finish up the cheat button functionality (shouldn't take too long.. just need to create another activity. should be pretty simple)
