Inspiration
The idea of designing an application where users can receive location-based recommendations according to specific criteria emerged to facilitate people discovering venues around them and finding places that match their preferences.
What it does
GeoLLMApp provides Gemini-supported recommendations based on users' location-based requests. Users specify certain criteria or preferences (such as a café with a terrace and high ratings), and the application scans the surroundings to list the most suitable options for the user.
How we built it
I aim to use a Python-based software development environment to develop the application. By leveraging techniques like function calling in the Gemini API, I plan to generate location recommendations based on the user's requests and present these recommendations to the user in a conversational manner through Gemini.
