Eventually, people will need to visit local repositories to find evidence to link together their family tree. GenTraveling.com will form genealogical-focused travel groups to any location...(if enough people show interest in a particular location). Group discounts will typically be available and be a great, cost-effective way to travel!

What it does

GenTraveling.com uses a collaborative social platform that lets people flag where they want to visit and helps connect them with other people with similar research plans. When enough people flag a particular location, a genealogy-focus research trip is planned and the group gets group discounted travel perks. GenTraveling.com users can post photos from their research trips and continue to chat and connect with other passionate family historians like themselves.

What's next for GenTraveling.com

GenTraveling.com users will be breaking through their genealogical brick walls with the records they find on their onsite research trips and can upload those records to our Record Collection for the benefit of others. The incentive to do that will be Travel Points for future research trips!
