Inspiration

Many people but most closely Reckful who was making his game. I want to succeed in bringing something good to the world.

What it does

The full version will aim to teach people self management skills in a fun way and hopefully improve people's lives. There will be cooking, exercise, meditation etc...

How we built it

In unity and a lot tiny design details. I used a lot of asset pack mostly for art.

Challenges we ran into

This is my first game (although I've developed VR content before) so almost everything is a learning challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm happy that I got this out and done. I really am proud of the outdoor environment at the very end where you can just explore around. I put so many little details in there and most importantly I think the feeling I wanted to make is there.

What we learned

Shaders, texturing, 3d modeling, just about everything you need to make a game solo.

What's next for GenkiNaru

Taking a needed short break as I am doing this full-time. Very soon polishing this to meet a near AAA standard which make take a week or two. I will then make a published demo and have a marketing plan in place. Looking to sell the game around March 2026.
