Inspiration
I actually had the idea for an app like this several months ago, but wasn't sure if there would really be any demand for it. After watching the brief Simon from Better Creating posted it made me think there might actually be a market for this app.
What it does
It's a council of chat agent mentors (in app we call them personas). The include personas allow ai conversations around various topics like career, money, and personal growth. You can also add your own personas as well as share them with others.
How we built it
I only had about a week to so I moved very fast.
I used Flutter because it is very fast to write apps in. I used Firebase because it allows us to get the auth, database, and all infrastructure we need very quickly. I used antigravity to help code the app so I could move very fast.
Challenges we ran into
Biggest issue was the first version of the app used Firebase Firestore as a database. However there was a huge issue, Firestore does not have full text search! I ended up refactoring to use Firebase Data Connect so that we could get that full text search feature. Also had to create a paywall in Revenue Cat.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Taking an app from nothing to finished in just a few days.
What we learned
Learned a lot about firebase and how it can help me move very fast.
