Genie's Feast

Inspiration

We wanted to make a recipe generator that works for folks on a budget.

What it does

Genie's Feast pulls from a set of recipes that provide options for a bunch of different food restriction types and give the price per meal to the user.

How we built it

We made mockups in Figma and the final version in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I worked on the back-end in Node. I got it working pretty well with the Wegmans product API combined with TheMealDB.com.

I worked with Brantley on the front-end. My job was to create the home page. It creates a form to submit dietary restrictions and a price range.

I worked on the main recipe page. I used Bootstrap to create it. It displays the recipes that come back from the API.
