It helps enables users to customize and simulate genetic recombination processes, providing insights into how genetic traits are passed from parents to offspring and how the inheritance patterns can be influenced by various factors like genetic linkage.

Challenges we ran into

There were a lot of challenges. The most important one was the time constraint placed on me as a solo hacker.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The code compiles well and gives you a good result that is great to look at and simple to understand.

What we learned

That even complicated ideas can be simplified and presented to the public in an accessible way and how that will help people grow more interested in science.

What's next for Genetic Recombination with Linkage

Making it even more user friendly by ensuring the UI gets better and less complicated than it is now.
