🌱 Inspiration
Most AI tools today are powerful, but they’re impersonal. No matter who uses them, the responses often feel the same — generic, detached, and forgettable.
We asked a simple question: What if AI didn’t just help you… but grew with you?
Inspired by the idea of personal growth from winter to spring, we imagined an AI that doesn’t replace human thinking, but mirrors and enhances it. That idea became GENESIS AI — a personal digital twin that learns how you think and works alongside you.
🧬 What it does
GENESIS AI creates a personal digital twin — an AI version of the user that understands their writing style, goals, preferences, and way of thinking.
Once created, the Twin:
Collaborates with the user in real time to brainstorm ideas
Helps plan tasks, projects, and strategies
Co-writes documents in the user’s own tone
Evolves visually and functionally as the user interacts more
Stores long-term memory to improve personalization over time
Instead of a generic chatbot, GENESIS AI feels like working with a smarter version of yourself.
🛠️ How we built it
GENESIS AI is a full-stack, production-ready application.
Frontend
Built using Flutter for cross-platform support (mobile + web)
Clean, modern UI with smooth animations and transitions
Structured navigation and modular screen architecture
Digital Twin dashboard, onboarding flow, and co-creation workspace
Backend
Powered by Supabase
Authentication with Email/Password and Google Sign-In
Secure database design to store:
User profiles
Digital Twin states and evolution stages
Workspace sessions and generated documents
Designed with scalability and privacy in mind
Architecture
Clean separation between UI, logic, and data layers
Easily extendable AI layer for future intelligence upgrades
⚠️ Challenges we ran into
Modeling “personality”: Translating abstract human traits like tone, thinking style, and preferences into structured data was challenging.
Balancing features vs simplicity: We had to avoid overwhelming users while still offering powerful capabilities.
Designing evolution visually: Making the Twin’s growth feel meaningful required careful UI and interaction design.
Data structure planning: Designing a flexible backend schema that supports long-term memory and evolution without overcomplication.
Each challenge pushed us to think more like product designers, not just developers.
