What it does
GeneShield is a platform designed to secure and protect genomic information. It uses cutting-edge technology to ensure that data is stored and transmitted securely, so that patients can feel confident that their genetic data is protected.
How we built it
We built GeneShield using a variety of programming languages and tools, including Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. Our team members specialized in different areas, including front-end design, back-end development, and data security. We worked closely together to ensure that our platform was user-friendly, functional, and most of all secure.
Challenges we ran into
As with any complex software project, we ran into a number of challenges during development. One of the biggest hurdles we faced was ensuring that the platform was fully secure and that genomic data could not be accessed by unauthorized parties. Additionally, we had to overcome issues with integration between different components of the system, as well as optimize the platform's performance for speed and reliability.
