Inspiration
The idea for General Mechine computer came from my friends struggles balancing mental health, personal task, and self growth. Many of us wanted a single tool that could support us emotionally, help us study, remind us of task. I am noticed that while there apps for each of these needs individually (task manager, AI chatbots, Etc.) there wasn’t a unified solution that combines them all through a friendly AI interface. That’s why we built an app that’s not just a tool—but a digital companion that grows with you.
What it does
General Machine Computer is an AI-powered mobile app that helps users: Chat with an intelligent assistant for mental support, task help, or learning guidance. Manage daily tasks and earn XP for completing them. Track moods and receive personalized support or insights. Take notes and organize thoughts like a second brain. Visualize progress with charts and stats.
How we built it
Bolt.new: to generate the foundational structure using React Native and Expo. Expo: to deploy the app on both Android and iOS.
Challenges we ran into
Errror so much and my mental is tired.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a fully functional mobile app using Bolt.new and deploying it cross-platform in record time. Successfully integrating AI, gamification, note-taking, and blockchain into one cohesive experience. Designing a helpful tool that people actually want to use daily—not just for productivity, but also for emotional well-being. Making self-care, learning, and organization feel fun, not overwhelming.
What we learned
olt.new is incredibly powerful for launching production-ready mobile apps. Good UX is not about adding features—it’s about simplifying decisions for the user. Combining AI with gamified task systems can drive real engagement. Prompt engineering is key when building a multi-role AI assistant.
