Inspiration

The inspiration for Gener8 came from the realization that biotech domain experts often struggle with the technical aspects of machine learning, including analyzing data, selecting parameters, and generating code for models. Gener8 was designed to bridge this gap and make it easier for domain experts to work with machine learning.

What it does

Gener8 is an app that enables biotech domain experts to analyze data, select parameters, and generate code to train machine learning models. Users can upload their data and specify their objectives, and Gener8 will provide them with recommended parameters for their models. The app generates code that can be used to train models, saving users time and effort.

How we built it

Gener8 was built using a combination of OpenAi models and python libraries like pandas streamlit libraries to create the algorithms that analyze data and generate model parameters.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced during development was ensuring that the app was user-friendly and accessible to domain experts with varying levels of technical expertise. We also had to balance the need for powerful machine learning algorithms with the app's usability and speed.
