Inspiration
I was recently in a class that pointed out the dangers of AI to the tech industry, but not once did anyone speak about the benefits. I thought to myself, there must be some? So I began compiling a mental list. Later in the day I saw this hackathon and thought it a great idea to share my thoughts.
What it does
It argues the ways generative AI can not only help the tech industry, but that when it does it will continually beinfit all of society.

Challenges we ran into
I found this posting an hour before the deadline, making the process very rushed and slightly stressful.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was my first ever recorded presentation, which my stress induced stutter makes difficult.

What's next for Gen AI: A Friend, Not Foe to the Tech Industry
I hope it could be used to combat fear mongering around generative AI not only in the tech industry but as a whole.
