Inspired by the common problem of lost items in workplaces, campuses, and organizations, this project aims to provide a simple, centralized platform to report, track, and recover lost or found items efficiently. The goal is to reduce time wasted searching for belongings and improve accountability.

What it does GemYugma allows users to: Report lost or found items (with optional images) View all open items in the system Mark items as collected or closed Streamline communication between finders and owners

How we built it Backend: Node.js & Express Database: MongoDB for storing item details and user info Frontend: EJS templating engine Additional features: Optional image uploads for better item identification

Challenges we ran into Gemini Api usage run out. Handling image uploads and storage efficiently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Fully functional system with CRUD operations for lost and found items Users can now track and recover items faster than traditional manual methods Scalable architecture ready for future enhancements
