Gemini Prompt Improver

Inspiration

Writing effective prompts is always challenging, and it's important to have flexible tools that are easily accessible and that can support the prompt writing process.

What it does

When user writes a prompt in Gemini, he or she may ask for suggestions for improvements to the draft of a prompt. In response, the extension provides three concise suggestions that will allow the user to improve the prompt.

Challenges we ran into

The Nano model may have some weaknesses, and it was challenging to overcome them in the context of this particular task.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to come up with a prompt that works quite decent in combination with the UI solution.

What I learned

That was a great opportunity to practice the combination of prompt engineering and software development skills.

What's next for Gemini Prompt Improver

Handle corner cases. Improve UI/UX. Implement it in a similar way for ChatGPT and Claude.
