Inspiration

Devin - The AI Software Engineer inspired us to build something of our own. Data Science and Analysis is our forte so we thought of going ahead with the idea to build an AI Data Analyst.

What it does

It empowers Small - Medium Sized Enterprises who lack data resources like talent and infra by helping them in providing data driven decisions in 2 minutes without hallucinations.

How we built it

We have built it using Python, Gemini Pro, Vision Pro API, Streamlit and a lottt of Prompt Engineering!

Challenges we ran into

1. Gemini accurate response generation
2. Reducing the total analysis time

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1. We figured out a way to use AI to debug its own code
2. Dynamically set the user safety setting for Gemini
3. Reduced the total time of execution from over 10 minutes to ~2 minutes

What we learned (motivational but it helped us)

1. Dream big and innovate
2. There's always a way to figure things out

What's next for Sameeksha - The AI Data Analyst

1. Integration with products like Big Query, Vertex AI, Dialog Flow etc.
2. Automated professional dashboard creation using Looker Studio.
3. Support to multiple languages, data formats and sources.
