Inspiration

The inspiration behind this website is so that two parties, business owners and customers can benefit from. Seeing small business owners in Indonesia struggle with marketing, hiring and sales, we decided to make a change for them.

What it does

GEKO is a place for small business owners to network, attract customers from discounts that are offered. At the same time, customers can benefit from these discounts. This website can also be used by retail business owners to open job vacancies.

How we built it

With the use of various programming languages Front end : HTML/CSS Back end : Django, Python Hosting: Heroku

Challenges we ran into

Finding the right teammate with the same goal. Lack of clarity to our desired website. Working with people of different timezones. Time management we had that collides with our respective classes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The functioning website for our desired website. How we worked together with our teams despite the challenges we faced. Our accomplishment to complete both front and back end.

What we learned

We learned to help each other with their tasks and we realized how we are able to improve on the skills we already have.

What's next for GEKO

We will continue to improve our website to meet our users desires and make it easier for them to promote their businesses. Getting feedback from our users to make the website more accessible and features that can be useful.
