Inspiration

Yu-Gi-Oh cards, some Pokemon Go on the side.

What it does

Helps you learn and identify new plants around you, and encourage outdoor interactions!

How we built it

We used React, Django, Bootstrap, and Pl@ntNet as our external API to verify plant matching.

Challenges we ran into

Crunch time and pressure. Idea refinement took time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got it working!... sorta. The majority of our team members were working with React for the first time ever!

What we learned

What's next for GeauxFetch

Cross-department collaboration: LSU AgCenter, LSU College of Science. Refine and expand the community aspect, while expanding to animal exploration
