Inspiration

Drafting a road safety plan through big data analytic.

What it does

To gain insights of the car accidents and improve road safety at Thailand.

How we built it

Data visualization and forecast using Power Bi Research additional data to supplement the face dataset Create new column for additional calculation

Challenges we ran into

Data records without value Illogical data value ex. Hospital time is earlier than accident time Data column indicator mismatching with data dictionary Azure subscription service technical problem and unexpected charges incurred. (resolution in progress) Given to that i can only use power BI desktop to solve the problem statement. Learning Power BI and data visualisation from scratch.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learn and apply power bi within 2 days Compiling list of coordinate for all provinces in Thailand. Insights discovery from the dataset provided.

What we learned

Various perspectives to look into the problem statement. Different between power bi desktop and services. Data visualization and Power bi express learning within 2 days (wesak day weekend, blessed by buddha ).

What's next for GBDi

To present more details insights on accident reduction to the the related authority. To engage me for more detail insightful analysis.
