Gay Twist is an AI-powered selfie and quiz app that gives users a fabulous Gay-o-Meter score, a custom drag persona, and a cheeky vibe report. Upload a photo or answer some fun prompts—our AI reads your chaos and returns the gay agenda in one shiny, memeable package.

🛠️ How we built it

• Bolt.new was used to create the front-end experience and workflows.
• OpenAI GPT-4 Vision analyzes selfies to extract mood, fashion choices, and facial expressions.

• GPT prompt chaining interprets quiz responses + image context and generates a final “report card” including:

  • 🌈 A score from “Closet Chic” to “Sashay Supreme”
  • 💃 A custom drag/queer alter ego
  • 🧠 A sass-fueled quote or affirmation

😵 Challenges we ran into

• Controlling GPT’s tone to stay affirming, inclusive, and hilarious without crossing lines
• Making Vision descriptions consistently useful (some were weirdly poetic?)
• Balancing low-effort dev with high-fun UX — we didn’t want to overbuild
• Resisting the urge to spend 6 hours tuning drag names
