Inspiration

This project was born out of both loneliness and resilience. Music has always been the way I carry my emotions when words alone aren’t enough. Even though it is not my profession, it is my deepest passion. I was inspired by the need to show that someone with almost nothing, just an old Note 8 phone and access to free AI tools, can still create something meaningful.

What it does

The project turns raw feelings into music and visuals that tell a story of struggle, hope, and persistence. It shows that creativity can thrive even with limited resources, and it gives a voice to those who are often overlooked or dismissed. It is not just a song but a mirror of resilience and honesty.

How we built it

I started by sharing my story with ChatGPT, which helped me shape my emotions into lyrics. From there, I used Refusion to produce the music and build the sound. For the visuals, I relied mostly on Kling AI, and a little on Google Veo 3. To keep character consistency in the images, I used Nano Banana. Since I was working entirely on free tiers, there were always delays and limitations, but I kept pushing through. My hope is that someone will feel the honesty in my work and connect with it.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was having limited resources. I could only rely on free tiers of AI tools since I could not afford paid software or a professional studio, which caused delays and restrictions. I also faced criticism from people around me, who often dismissed AI and rejected my music, leaving me feeling isolated. On top of this, working with an old phone slowed the process and demanded patience and creativity. The hardest part was emotional—holding on to belief in my work when almost no one else did.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that this project exists at all. Despite scarcity and rejection, I was able to create something that feels honest and alive. The greatest accomplishment is not technical but personal—proving to myself that passion can overcome doubt, and that a story told with sincerity can still reach others.

What we learned

I learned that passion matters more than resources, that AI can be a collaborator rather than a threat, and that vulnerability is powerful. I discovered that even when people around me criticize or fail to understand, honesty in art has the ability to connect with someone, somewhere.

What's next for Gave it all

The next step is to expand the project into a full collection of songs and visuals that carry the same emotional honesty. I hope to share it more widely on platforms where it can inspire others who feel limited by their resources or silenced by doubt. I also want to keep exploring how free and accessible AI tools can empower creators in rural areas like mine, proving that art does not belong only to those with privilege but to anyone with passion.
