Inspiration
The inspiration behind GatorLink was through addressing the topic of how San Francisco State University can bridge the communication gap between various communities and students on campus. Given the past year was all virtual it prompted little to no motivation to foster friendships through Zoom classes. Communication apps like Facebook, Tinder, Bumble, and Discord are very broad and cater to anyone that has access to the app stores. We wanted to create an application that is specific to connecting only San Francisco State University students to other San Francisco State University students.
