The inspiration for our game has interesting story. I (Sandor) came up with the idea when we were introduced to the hackathon event, then I suggested the idea to the other members of Aeon. (Daniel, Mitchell and Nicholas)

How the game works is quite simple, you walk around the area to explore the crime scene. While exploring the scene, you'll find where the murder scene and you'll obtain information of the victim's time of death.
Plus, you'll find evidence as well and you would approach it and tap on it. By tapping on it, piece of evidence will be kept in the "Evidence Record" and you can tap on it to open and look at what you've obtained so far about the case.

Lastly, you'll discover several witnesses who are related to the case. When approach a witness, they will talk to you about what you know and any information that would be important to the case. Sometimes there will moments where there will be multiple options to select, you move your phone to which dialogue option you want and tap the speech bubble to discuss with the witness about.

We haven't built something playable yet... We don't have a real understanding how to use AR. So for now it's just a proof of concept.

We faced several challenges and they vary from a lack of understanding of the software we were planning to use (Three.js World Effects), and things becoming very sudden and overwhelming.

We are proud of with the concept and the ideas we created for Deduction, even if we haven't built something for people to try.

We've learnt that we need to develop your knowledge and understanding of the software, and with that understanding we can achieve what we what wanted to in the end.

For the future, we definitely would like to make Deduction playable for people to try, and we plan to expand our ideas and create a full game.
