Inspiration
I am a big cinephile at heart. I enjoy movies, tv shows , books and anime. I often get intrigued when food is used as medium in a story. It makes me think how much cultural impact does food really have in today's media. When I learned about Qloo , I wanted to put it to test.
What it does
It takes a food image, identifies its name and find the movies, tv shows and books most associated with it. It uses Gemini llm to extract insights which explain the association.
How we built it
I used Streamlit for frontend, transformer library for extracting dish name and langchain with gemini for generating insights
Challenges we ran into
I had to understand how can i use QLOO api for the task. It took me 2 days of testing to find out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that i was able to make something which most of Genz would be interested in using.
