This project has been inspired by Uber. The convenience brought about by Uber whether for package delivery. food delivery or taxi services. Since biogas is an easily produced product, it made sense to make it accessible to customers.

Biogas sellers can enroll their customers in the software. As a result, the customers can conveniently purchase biogas, have it delivered to them or pick the cylinder up themselves

We began with brainstorm which SDGs to target in particular as they are quite a number. Then we landed on clean energy and at first decided on LPG. For the next three week we built the software. We had an idea of how we wanted the order process to look like. However it wasn't until the second last week to submission, that were hit with an aha! moment. The reports from published by the UN on the SGDs indicated that biogas was less utilized then LPG. We came full circle and changed the LPG delivery system to biogas sales system.

We ran into a couple of challenges. As we are both novice to programming, it was difficult to come up with the architecture of the software: the front-end, backend and integration. Also what feature to add to the software because we had little time. Furthermore the change from LPG to biogas required a complete overhaul of some parts.

All in all, we are proud of ourselves for having a complete project.

We learned that we should stick to a simple system. Constantly adding features to the system without completing the original features is a surefire way to give up.

What's next? We await the feedback and after we would like to launch the mvp to the Kenyan Market.
