Inspiration

To help make Angelenos lives easier and more convenient.

What it does

Calculates how much you spend on gas each week/month/year based on your car. Displays commute duration based on historic traffic conditions. Displays uber cost for commute.

How we built it

.Net MVC framework, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, Google Maps Api, Fuel Economy Api.

Challenges I ran into

What beer to drink. But, seriously our greatest challenges were using third party api's.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Working as a team and creating a functioning prototype.

What we learned

Using Google Maps Api, Fuel Economy Api, deploying to Azure Cloud and that we can code for 18 hours straight and not die...

What's next for GasAsk

To increase functionality and go public!
