Inspiration

It was a great idea with the real life data. So we wanted to have that real-time experience of watching the flight tracker at 11 pm and make prices go brr.

What it does

We traded manually only, analysed data in excel and python scripts

How we built it

manual access to the exchange, website data for sources, api key to flight data too at some point

Challenges we ran into

getting the data automatically, making sure the data is the same as that from the scoring committee

Accomplishments that we're proud of

fast thinking, action, spotting opportunities others didn't see or have the conviction to exploit

What we learned

Get yourself a good thesis and trust it while updating it within the bounds of your strategy!

What's next for GaryGensler

He's no longer head of the SEC, went to teach or sth. As for us, we'll go back to lectures and hopefully more exciting stuff like this next semester
