Sample Project: Using Rules to manage large file copying

This sample project helps regional office move large files based on criteria define by banking clerks.

The sample project is based around the business need of Banking Clerks to securely transfer large files containing sensitive information by using a rules based process.

Regional branches within a bank need to upload sensitive data to corporate over public networks. Based on the type of content, Corticon is used to examine set rules to determine appropriate parameter and security options best suited to perform file transfers using MoveIT.

By using a combination of Corticon Rules Studio and MoveIt, the project will look to showcase a web form front end, suitable for Banking Clerks, to take input related to Rules Parameters and select appropriate files and scripts to perform a MoveIT secure transfer between virtual machines.

Various skills are required for this project including, form design and UX, Rules creation and execution, MoveIT operations skills as well as Soft Skills relating to the business benefits and commercial positioning of the overall solution.
