Inspiration

Railway infrastructure is one of the most critical transportation systems, yet inspections are still heavily dependent on manual monitoring methods that are slow, risky, and difficult to scale. We wanted to create a futuristic solution that combines Artificial Intelligence, autonomous drones, and predictive analytics to improve railway safety and monitoring efficiency. Inspired by advanced command-center systems used in aerospace and defense industries, we developed GARUDANETRA to represent the future of intelligent railway infrastructure.


What it does

GARUDANETRA is an AI-powered Autonomous Railway Intelligence Platform designed to modernize railway inspection and monitoring.

The system can:

Perform autonomous drone-based railway inspections

Monitor railway infrastructure in real time

Detect anomalies and defects using AI and computer vision

Provide predictive maintenance insights

Generate inspection analytics and telemetry data

Simulate enterprise-level railway command center operations

The platform combines a futuristic SaaS dashboard with drone hardware integration to create a smart railway monitoring ecosystem.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing a system that combines both software intelligence and physical drone hardware into a single ecosystem.

Other challenges included:

Creating a realistic enterprise-level UI/UX

Planning drone hardware integration

Managing telemetry visualization

Simulating real-time AI monitoring

Building scalable architecture for future upgrades

Optimizing futuristic animations and responsiveness

We also explored cloud database solutions and notification systems before deciding to simplify the prototype architecture for faster development and testing.
